Petroleum machinery bearings
The stability, safety, and reliability of petroleum machinery and its matched bearings are extremely important.
Petroleum rigs are a group of very complex large-scale complete equipment. In addition to general land oil and natural gas drilling, rigs are used in deserts, alpines, plateaus, swamps, shoals, oceans, etc. The drilling rigs must withstand harsh natural conditions such as wind and sand, low temperatures, seawater corrosion, and sea wave erosion. Therefore, the future technical development trend of bearings for oil drilling equipment will be high-pressure resistance, low-temperature resistance, pollution resistance, and corrosion resistance.
The bearings used in oil machinery are basically ordinary bearings， which are required to adapt to low wear during operation, to be used in harsh environments, to keep low calorific value, and to maintain high reliability. However, as the matched bearing of the mud pump at the heart of the oil rig, the accuracy level is required to be above P6 (E), the service life requirement is 5-10 years, and the reliability requirement is more than 95%. The pump is the most basic equipment in the petrochemical industry. It plays a very important role in the petroleum transportation and refining process. This requires the bearing to have a special high load capacity and a very long service life.
