STORE BEARINGS PROPERLY
Bearing belongs to a precision mechanical component, which has strict requirements for its storage.
Storage requirements:
- Keep clean and dry
- Reduce airflow
- If the relative humidity of the warehouse is greater than 75%, air conditioning is recommended
- Avoid Vibrations
- Keep the temperature constant (for 48 hours, the temperature change is not more than 3 degrees)
- The bearings are coated with anti-rust oil before leaving the factory. Too high or too low temperature will cause the deterioration of the anti-rust oil, and the room temperature should be controlled at 0-25 degrees.
- Regular inspection: In accordance with the anti-rust requirements of bearing products, check every 10-12 months. If the oil seal is found to be rusty, it should be processed and packaged again
Temperature and humidity
- As long as the relative humidity of the warehouse is not more than 60% and the temperature changes little, the bearings can be stored in the original packaging well.
- In clean air with a relative humidity of less than 50%, there will be no rust and corrosion on the exposed steel surface.
- After long-term storage of bearings with seals or shields, the characteristics of the bearing grease may be affected
Large bearing storage
The correct storage method for large bearings can only be placed flat, and the entire side of the bearing rings should be supported.
If the bearing is placed vertically, the weight of the bearing rings and rollers may cause permanent deformation of the bearing
The correct storage of the bearing is very important to avoid rust or corrosion of the bearing. At the same time, pay attention to the packing details during the transportation to avoid damage to the bearings.
